Buffalo Creek Southwest started with a mother, a daughter, a love for beautiful jewelry, and absolutely no ability to say no to a good piece of turquoise.

Lora is the heart behind Buffalo Creek. A mother of five and grandmother of seven with another on the way, she’s living proof that it’s never too late to do something bold. At 45, she stepped on stage for the first time at the House of Blues because apparently raising five kids wasn’t adventurous enough.

​

Raley, Lora’s oldest, is a mom of two boys who grew up with Santa Fe feeling like a second home. Her style is western with a little edge, and she’s always loved jewelry that feels collected rather than simply bought.

Together, we created Buffalo Creek Southwest around pieces we genuinely love. Handcrafted Native American jewelry, sterling silver, turquoise, real stones, and Southwest finds chosen because they have that something you just don’t find everywhere.

We believe the best jewelry becomes part of your story. You wear it on ordinary Tuesdays, big nights out, road trips, and everywhere in between. Then one day, it becomes the piece someone else hopes you’ll leave to them.
